Programme Manager

Location: Auckland

Aspire2 Workplace Communication is looking for an outstanding Programme Manager to join our team.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll combine your experience in adult education with strong commercial awareness to manage the delivery of our workplace communication training programmes. You’ll work closely with clients, tutors, and internal teams to design and deliver high-quality, fully funded programmes that make a real difference for learners and organisations.

You’ll oversee programmes from initial client engagement through to learner graduation, ensuring delivery meets client expectations, learner needs, and Aspire2 Workplace Communication’s quality standards. The role includes programme planning, client relationship management, tutor support and development, reporting, and regular travel throughout New Zealand to support delivery and engagement.

Eligibility and experience criteria

Must-haves

  • Experience in an adult education environment
  • A relevant adult literacy qualification (NCALNE or equivalent, or CELTA)
  • Experience in literacy, numeracy and/or ESOL delivery or embedding
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Solid commercial awareness and a strong client service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and outcomes
  • Experience supporting tutors to deliver high-quality training
  • Instructional design and programme content development experience
  • Currently residing in New Zealand, eligible to work here, with a full NZ Driver’s Licence

Good to have

  • An education-related tertiary qualification
  • Knowledge of Te Reo Māori and tikanga and/or Pacific languages and culture
  • Experience delivering or supporting online learning
  • Familiarity with NZQA processes and requirements
