Business Development Manager
Location: Auckland
Aspire2 Workplace Communication is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and helping organisations develop stronger, more capable workforces. You’ll partner with employers across New Zealand to identify training needs and connect them with government-funded programmes that improve communication, leadership, financial literacy, and workplace capability.
You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team that genuinely enjoys making a difference. Working alongside our experienced Programme Managers, you’ll help organisations unlock the potential of their people while growing long-term client partnerships across a wide range of industries.
Aspire2 Workplace Communication is New Zealand’s largest provider of government-funded workplace communication and literacy programmes. Every year we work with organisations throughout Aotearoa, delivering customised training that improves confidence, productivity, and business performance. Eligibility criteria
You’ll ideally bring:
- Proven Business Development or Relationship Management experience in a B2B environment
- A strong network within medium to large New Zealand organisations
- The confidence to build relationships with stakeholders at every level, from operational teams to senior leaders
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM systems
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for achieving results
- A full New Zealand Driver Licence
