ESOL Training
Improve confidence in workplace communication when English is not the first language
Give your staff the skills to navigate day to day working life without language being a barrier. With a key focus on cultural understanding and health and safety in a New Zealand context.
If you have a team where English is not their first language, Aspire2 Workplace Communication can deliver ESOL training at your site for groups of 8 or more participants.
Programmes can be stand-alone or support a larger fully funded workplace programme.
ESOL Training
Putting the learner front and centre
- Focus on oral communication and confidence, to support teamwork and professional behaviour in the workplace.
- Build knowledge around money, NZ law, and understanding their worker rights, payslips, KiwiSaver and more.
Improve English reading skills, reading for gist and reading for detail. Supporting workplace processes and Health and Safety.
Delivery
We offer two levels of programme at your site:
- Basic support: which is usually provided across 12 x 2 hour sessions at a time that works for your organisation.
- Extended programme: which is a minimum of 48 hours and can be delivered in 2 or 4 hours sessions.
Once you have discussed your bespoke needs with a Relationship Manager and your dedicated Programme Manager (including learner needs, and organisational requirements), we then create your tailored programme, focused on maximum return, quick engagement and change in your workplace.
Training is delivered by tutors specifically qualified and experienced in this area.
